MRI Smart Amplifiers

Remove MRI artifact from the source physiological data

MRI Smart Amplifiers remove most MRI related artifact at the source, so signals can often be sampled at the same rate as during non-MRI recording. Signal processors distinguish between the physiological signal and MRI artifact as manifested by gradient switching/RF pulsing during MRI sequences, such as any Spin Echo Sequence (e.g., EPI).

  • Electrocardiogram: ECG100C-MRI
  • Electroencephalogram: EEG100C-MRI
  • Electromyogram (integrated EMG): EMG100C-MRI

A Filtered cable set can be used with EGG100C Electrogastrogram—contact BIOPAC for setup options.

Special filtered cable sets, electrodes & electrode leads

MRI Cbl/Filter System for Biopot. Amps

These “radio-translucent” electrodes and leads are non-magnetic and non-metallic and provide high quality signals without interfering with the MRI—they must be used for measuring biopotentials in the MRI.

    • disposable electrodes: EL508, EL509, or EL510
    • reusable carbon fiber lead electrodes: EL254RT and EL258RT (animal use only)
    • reusable leads: LEAD108B (15 cm) or LEAD108C (30 cm)
