252 – Aerobic Capacity, Physical Fitness and VO2 Max
Aerobic capacity is also known as maximal oxygen uptake or maximum oxygen consumption (VO2 max). VO2 max is the maximum capacity of a subject to transport (uptake) oxygen and utilize it during exercise. VO2 max is an indication of the physical fitness of the subject.
This application note illustrates the aerobic capacity measurement as indicated by VO2 max.
