165 – Integrated EMG

This document explains how to obtain an integrated EMG from raw EMG data, using the Biopac Student Lab Pro software. Integrated EMG can either be derived online in real time or it can be obtained post-acquisition.

Associated Applications

• EGG: Electrogastrogram - Measure electrical activity of gastrointestinal system in humans and animals. Examine slow wave propagation and perform automated gastric wave analysis in AcqKnowledge.
• EMG: Electromyography - Record surface, needle, and fine wire EMG—or wireless EMG with BioNomadix. Use real-time integration tools for immediate analysis or use automated EMG analysis routines.
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging with BIOPAC Equipment - Electrodes, electrode leads, transducers, and stimulus options for safe data acquisition in the MRI. Record biopotentials, temperature, respiration, EDA, dynamometry, blood pressure, etc.
