In this demo clip, an electrocardiogram is recorded and heart rate is calculated using AcqKnowledge data acqusition and analysis software. The data is then sent to another computer running an application that controls the color of a virtual hand depending on the current heart rate. The display includes raw ECG, calculated heart rate, and a graph illustrating changes in heart rate. The data show that the heart rate is modified as respiration changes, and in turn the color of the hand is modified.
