AcqKnowledge efficiently collects all data necessary for precise lung volume measurements and detailed respiratory airflow analysis for in lab and MRI applications. Investigate breathing mechanics by examining pressure/flow and pressure/volume relationships. Analyze respiratory gas consumption and production in real time and perform calculations for a complete metabolic analysis. All recorded data is clearly displayed in dedicated graph channels with breath-by-breath values and trends, and for X/Y plotting. Following data collection, use the powerful automated analysis tools to quickly extract advanced respiratory measures such as compliance and resistance, Penh analysis and pulmonary airflow.

Metabolic Analysis Script

This automated script, with the companion graph template, is used to measure metabolic parameters from a subject: air flow, CO2 & %CO2. This script requires an active AcqKnowledge Basic Scripting license and is available via download from BIOPAC (Script 052).

Use the bundled Automated Analysis tools to quickly obtain specific advanced Respiration measures. AcqKnowledge will score the waveform and export the results to a journal or spreadsheet file, or display them as new channels.
