Electroencephalogram Amplifier

Advanced Amplifier for Research Applications

Selectable signal conditioning—filter or transform data as it is being collected

Cascade up to 16 amplifer modules per MP Research System for multi-parameter or multi-subject studies

Electroencephalogram Amplifier
Part #: EEG100C

The EEG100C Electroencephalogram (EEG) Amplifier amplifies bioelectric potentials associated with neuronal activity of the brain and can be used to perform unipolar or bipolar EEG measurements.

The EEG100C  is part of a complete research system solution. These amplifiers interface with the MP160/MP150 data acquisition and analysis platform and AcqKnowledge software, allowing advanced analysis for multiple applications.

The amplifier output can be switched between normal EEG output and Alpha wave detection.

  • The 0.005 Hz HP setting* will support Slow Cortical Potential measurement in the EEG.
  • The Alpha detection mode outputs a smoothed wave with a peak indicating maximal alpha activity (signal energy in the 8-13 Hz frequency range).

Details

Use AcqKnowledge software to automatically filter the raw EEG signals for Alpha, Beta, Theta, and Gamma wave activity and to provide a full frequency analysis of the data. The software will also remove any EOG artifact in the signals.
