The BioNomadix Pulse transducer records the pulse pressure waveform. The transducer operates with the BioNomadix Pulse Transmitter (BN-PPGED) and consists of a matched infrared emitter and photo-diode, which transmits changes in infrared reflectance resulting from varying blood flow. The ergonomic housing design improves contact with the subject and helps reduce motion artifact. Primarily designed for either finger or ear attachment, the finger transducer can be taped to other body locations.
