Compatibility

AcqKnowledge software utilizes guided channel setting dialogs, allowing the user to easily configure all channel data types and parameters. Once parameters are established, recording settings can be saved as a graph template for future use. This allows for instant start up for subsequent recording sessions.

 RSA Data in AcqKnowledge

Respiratory Sinus Arrhythmia Data with Markers

During recording, see real-time live raw data as well as real-time filtering or calculation channels. Display Heart or Breathing Rate Rate in real-time during recording, or choose from a variety of other filter and calculation settings. Easily insert markers for different stimuli presentation or experimental conditions throughout recording.

Physiological data can also be synchronized to video recording via BIOPAC Camera Systems. With Camera Systems physiological data and Video Data are time linked in AcqKnowledge. Simply scroll through either the video or physiological data to be taken to the corresponding data point in the other file.

After recording, take advantage of the fully automated RSA Analysis Routine in AcqKnowledge. Use guided video tutorials to get the most out of all available analysis tools.

Respiratory Sinus Arrhythmia (RSA) Analysis

Use this routine to explore connection between respiration and changes to heart rate. Provides breath-to-breath analysis measurements.

The RSA analysis outputs the following measures:

  • Cycle – Time
  • Min Rate – Minimum heart rate
  • Max rate – Maximum heart rate
  • RSA – RSA index for the respiratory cycle, expressed in milliseconds.
