Transducer for wireless, wearable physiology
The Pulse transducer records the pulse pressure waveform; operates with the BioNomadix BN-PPGED or Smart Amplifier PPG100D. The transducer consists of a matched infrared emitter and photo-diode, which transmits changes in infrared reflectance resulting from varying blood flow. The ergonomic housing design improves contact with the subject and helps reduce motion artifact. Primarily designed for either finger or ear attachment, the finger transducer can be taped to other body locations.
