Precision Transducer for Research Data Acquisition

Convert biological signals for analysis with MP system or AcqKnowledge®

PPG Transducer Arousal Studies
Part #: TSD205-6.0 to TSD205-12.5

The TSD205-size series penile plethysmography transducer is an easy to use liquid metal (Indium-Gallium) strain gauge, designed for single use or same client only.

  • Size: circumference 6.0 cm to 12.5 cm, available in 0.5 cm increments
  • Length: 40 cm nominal
  • Connectors: two female Touchproof
  • Gauge impedance: 1-3 Ω nominal

The transducer can be used with both MP160/150 and MP36R research systems. To use with an MP160/MP150 System interface with TCI111A to the DA100C amplifier. For an MP36R system, use BSL-TCI18 with 2 x CBL201.

AcqKnowledge allows for a variety of physiological sexual arousal parameters including temperature, EDA, respiration, and pulse. Pulse rate, respiration rate, pulse amplitude, and area under the pulse curve are viewable using AcqKnowledge calculation channels.

Present a wide range of videos or images and send marker/trigger information to the MP System with a stimulus presentation package. Use automated analysis features, triggering off of the image markers, to determine the onset timing, duration, and amplitude of the subject’s response. Add subject feedback via the Variable Assessment Transducer TSD115.
