Disp. paired electrode foam 25 pairs/pk
Part #: EL500, EL500-6

Fixed spacing electrode pairs—primarily used for recording nerve conduction measurements, cardiac output, electrical bio-impedance and general-purpose surface EMG measurements.

These disposable snap electrodes provide the same signal transmission as reusable electrodes, with added convenience and hygiene. Each peel-and-stick foam-backed sheet has two electrode contacts and each electrode is pre-gelled. Designed for one use only.

Use disposable snap electrodes with LEAD110 series electrode leads or any other BIOPAC lead specified for snap electrodes.

Used with NICO or EBI amplifiers for impedance cardiography (in place of discontinued EL506 strip electrodes).

Compatibility

  • Standard snap connection
  • Ag/AgCl contact (11 mm dia)
  • Incorporates gel cavity (16 mm dia x 1.5 mm deep)
  • Electrolyte: wet liquid gel (10% chloride salt)
  • Strong adhesion
  • Size: 41 mm wide x 82 mm long x 1.5 mm thick
  • Qty: 25 or 150 sheets (2 contacts per sheet)

For best performance, use shielded leads (e.g., LEAD110S) for recording electrodes and an unshielded lead (e.g., LEAD110) for the ground electrode.

Paired electrodes can be used with NICO or EBI amplifiers for impedance cardiography (in place of discontinued EL506 strip electrodes):

setups for absolute and relative Cardiac Output measures

Electrical bioimpedance setups for absolute or relative measurement

New Citations | Utilizing VR and AcqKnowledge to Reduce Stress

Impact of Green Space on Stress Reduction Research studies show that the increased exposure of urbanization, traffic noise and pollution has been correlated with increasing levels of stress. However, do greener, more natural environments provide the opposite effect, restoring human well-being and contributing in stress reduction? Researchers compared user experiences in Virtual Reality (VR) scenes […]
