BioNomadix Firmware Update

Request More Info
Wireless Physiology Firmware
Part #: BN-TX-UPG

Firmware 4.3 or above is required for wireless BioNomadix Transmitters to work with a BioNomadix Logger or Smart Center. This firmware update allows existing users to update Transmitters with older firmware to enable functionality. If Transmitters are from an existing BioNomadix module set, the BioNomadix Transmitter(s) will receive the firmware update and be tested to ensure functionality with both the BioNomadix Logger and the matched BioNomadix Receiver.

  • The label on the back of the BioNomadix Transmitter lists the firmware version in the upper right
    • If no version is provided, the update is required
    • If Firmware is 4.2 or below, the update is required

Customer must receive an RMA # and then return the BioNomadix matched pair(s)—Transmitter and Receiver—to BIOPAC for a firmware update; customer can return multiple units at the same time.

Matched BioNomadix Transmitter-Receiver pairs delivered within 90 days preceding a BioNomadix Logger order qualify for a free firmware update—contact BIOPAC.

See Details below…Do NOT return items without an RMA.

  1. Complete the BioNomadix Upgrade RMA Request with serial numbers for each Transmitter and matched Receiver.
  2. Send to Support@biopac.com to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.

AFTER YOU RECEIVE THE RMA #

BIOPAC Support will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. When you have received an RMA # from BIOPAC Support, you can return the units:

  1. Place a purchase order for a new BioNomadix Logger BN-LOGGER and BioNomadix upgrade BN-TX-UPG.
  2. Box and return only the BioNomadix Receiver and Transmitter—no straps or chargers. The units must be packaged carefully and returned in a box clearly labeled with the RMA number on the outside.

The upgraded units will be returned with your new BioNomadix Logger.
