EPOCH Differential Sensors

Wireless in vivo recording

Compatible with industry-standard rodent caging

Activate transmitters when ready to use

EPOCH differential sensors enable long-term wireless recording of two different biopotentials, each with its own reference.

Two-channel sensors can record EEG+EEG, EEG+ECG, EEG+EMG, or ECG+EMG, with 2-month or 6-month battery life.

Sensors amplify biopotentials and wirelessly transmit data to a receiver tray placed under each animal cage for continuous wireless recording from a mouse or rat. There is no crosswalk between cages, unlike other types of implantable transmitters that use RF.

Transmitters ship deactivated—activate with EPOCH-ACTI when ready to start recording.
