Projection VR Integrated with Physiology
Training Applications, Objective Evaluation & Biofeedback
|Projection-based virtual reality provides a powerful, immersive medium that makes running and experiencing VR applications easy by eliminating the need for heavy headgear or cables.
Virtual training simulations and a variety of other scenarios benefit from Projection-based VR’s unobtrusive wireless sensing technology. Users remain completely free and untethered while researchers measure their physiological and behavioral responses to see how they performed during a simulation.
Project full mockups of training simulations with realistic layout, sounds, and lighting to evoke a sense of presence in the scenario to improve preparedness without exposure to hazards. For instance, train nursing and medical staff in simulation centers that mimic local hospitals and monitor their stress and attention levels under a variety of clinical care routines—add alarms, introduce distractions, adjust lighting and ambient sounds, etc. to train under realistic conditions.
Join Alex Dimov, from BIOPAC, and Daniel Tinkham and Bryce Armstrong, from WorldViz, as they guide you through virtual reality training where participants are immersed in virtual worlds while meaningful data is collected.
