New Scent Delivery System for Research

Date
Thursday, November 4, 2021

Location

Host
BIOPAC SYSTEMS, INC. - U.S.A.

If you have salivated to the aroma of freshly baked cinnamon rolls or been calmed by a hint of lavender in the air, you know the power of scent. Researchers can now harness that power to examine the impact of olfactory stimuli, such as:

  • Decision Making
  • Consumer Behavior
  • Emotional States
  • Stress
  • Sensory Testing

BIOPAC’s new Scent Delivery System (SDS200-SYS) integrates seamlessly with the MP160 Research System and AcqKnowledge to provide up to eight scents simultaneously (with hundreds of possible scent choices) in real-world scenarios, lab, virtual, and augmented reality environments. It also integrates with BIOPAC’s Eye Tracking & Stimulus Presentation system as well as any program that can provide TTL triggers, such as SuperLab or E-Prime.

Attend this webinar and learn about integrating up to eight scents into your physiological experiments with the SDS200-SYS. The System has flexible dispersal and extraction settings to optimize scent delivery and removal in large or small labs—even those with poor ventilation or no outside windows. Frazer Findlay, CEO of BIOPAC, will provide a live demonstration of the new system.

You Will Learn How To:

  • Add olfactory stimulation to any experiment
  • Synchronize scent delivery with physiology data
  • Optimize setup to get the best results
  • Combine different types of stimulation

Plus, we’ll do a LIVE DEMO of the new system.

BioNomadix Wireless 2 Ch Goniometry Amplifier

BioNomadix 2CH Wireless Goniometry Amplifier

The BioNomadix two channel wireless goniometry amplifier is a dual output device that provide simultaneous measurements around two orthogonal rotational axes (e.g., wrist flexion/extension and radial/ulnar deviations). These units interface with the MP160 (or older MP150) data acquisition and analysis platform and AcqKnowledge software, allowing advanced analysis for multiple applications and supporting acquisition of a broad range of signals and measurements. BN-GONIO can support any […]
