Lab On A Finger

BIOPAC is excited to partner with Senstream to bring you the new Research Ring! The ring is a revolutionary research platform that enables the capture of high-quality data from numerous physiological signals on a single, small, user-friendly device. Learn how you can use the ring technology to expand your research capabilities by allowing participants to live their lives while collecting data for your study. Research-grade in a friendly consumer form factor, the Research Ring collects electrodermal activity (EDA/GSR) data, pulse (with an optical sensor), electrocardiogram (ECG), and temperature. Data is automatically uploaded to the cloud for analysis and can be synchronized with AcqKnowledge in real time or imported into AcqKnowledge asynchronously from the cloud.

Learning Objectives:

  • Use cases for researchers in the lab and “in the wild”
  • How to utilize the mobile app, web app, and integrate with AcqKnowledge software
  • Technology overview of the Research Ring
  • The spec data, including sampling rates, battery life, etc.
  • How the Research Ring is different from other wearables
