Join BIOPAC for the second part of this two-part series on autonomic function testing: Isometric Handgrip Test, Cold Pressor Test, Mental Arithmetic Valid and reliable autonomic function testing plays an essential role in identifying a diagnosis, evaluating the prognosis, and treating autonomic nervous system diseases. These tests are also frequently performed in research labs to investigate autonomic responses in both health and disease. Surrogate measures are used to assess autonomic status by presenting different physiological challenges and recording end organ responses. Often, focus is placed on recorded changes in heart rate, blood pressure, sweating, etc. During this webinar, we demonstrate a standard battery of autonomic test protocols for cardiovagal, vasomotor adrenergic, and sudomotor function. This webinar identifies standard testing protocols, illustrates setup with the help of video recordings of participants, and provides tips related to data analysis options. You will learn the following:
Other topics include sympathetic skin response, HRV, baroreflex sensitivity, head-up tilt test, and new technology such as Trans-Radial-Ulnar Electrical Bioimpedance Velocimetry (TREV). Related Webinars: | Complete Form to Watch Now |
