Smart Ring Enables High-Quality Data Acquisition & Analysis Good things come in small packages, especially when they are mobile, cloud-connected, and compact enough to fit on a finger. The Research Ring from BIOPAC partner Senstream is a revolutionary research platform that enables the capture of high-quality data from numerous physiological signals on a single, small, user-friendly device. Research-grade in a friendly consumer form factor, the Research Ring collects electrodermal activity (EDA, aka GSR) data, pulse (with an optical sensor), electrocardiogram (ECG), and temperature. Data is automatically uploaded to the cloud for analysis and can be synchronized with AcqKnowledge in real time or imported into AcqKnowledge asynchronously from the mobile application. Join BIOPAC and the Research Ring’s inventors, Senstream, on September 1st, 2022 to learn about the emerging technology that will enhance wearable biometric research in the real world. What You Will Learn:
Hugh Lusted, Ph.D., Dr. Lusted is a founding partner at Senstream, Inc. He earned his Ph.D. in Neuroscience at Stanford University School of Medicine in 1980 and has since focused on developing high-quality portable biosignal acquisition systems. Dr. Lusted was a founding partner at BioControl Systems where he developed early-generation wearables for EEG, EMG, ECG, and EOG applications. Alex Fajkowski is a software developer working with Senstream to build mobile, cloud, and web applications. Alex has developed software for a number of industries including television, financial services, healthcare, education, retail, and federal government. Alex is currently focused on digital signal processing and analysis. He has his BS in Computer Science from Cornell University. Frazer Findlay is CEO of BIOPAC and has more than 25 years of experience in life science data acquisition and analysis. Frazer is a well-regarded expert in the physiology monitoring industry and has facilitated workshops in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. He is familiar with a variety of software, equipment, and laboratory protocols for a wide array of signals and measurements. Frazer joined BIOPAC in 1996 when he moved from the UK to Santa Barbara as the Domestic Sales Manager. He became CEO in 2008 and has continued to develop and grow the business while also working with physiology measurement and biometric companies to improve the physiology monitoring industry. | Complete form to watch now! |
