Goniometers

Goniometers for Life Science Research
BIOPAC offers twin-axis goniometers, torsiometers, and finger goniometers to obtain accurate measurement of polycentric joints. Telescopic endblocks compensate for changes in distance between the two mounting points as the limb moves. These goniometers are used conjunction with BIOPAC data acquisition and analysis systems, which normally contain electrodes, AcqKnowledge software, an MP data analysis and acquisition hardware platform, amplifiers, transducers and other system components.
The figure shows sign conventions for the most common joints:
Finger Goniometer 35 mm – MP3X/45
Part #: SS24L
SS24L is used to measure finger joint movement. The gauge mechanism in this single-axis goniometer allows for accurate measurement of…
Goniometers & Torsiometers
Part #: TSD130A, TSD130B, TSD130C, TSD130D, TSD130E
Dual-axis output devices provide simultaneous measurements around two orthogonal rotational axes and single-axis output devices measure axial rotation about a single plane.…
