Discovery Science features BIOPAC partner company Advanced Brain Monitoring

The Science Network’s “Through The Wormhole with Morgan Freeman” will premier an episode highlighting an ABM EEG monitoring system to show how the brain’s electrical activity can be monitored by putting sensors on the scalp. As cognitive states change, the electric frequencies of the brain change, and that can be recorded in real time and analyzed. The “Can Our Minds Be Hacked?” episode demonstrates how monitoring alpha waves and lower frequency theta waves of amateur archers can help them achieve peak performance. Premiers July 3 at 10pm.
