About Electrodes
Description:
The purpose of an electrode is to act as a connector between the Subject’s skin (where electrical signals are easiest to detect) and the BIOPAC acquisition unit (via a lead cable). If an electrode makes good contact with the skin, the signals that are generated will be relatively accurate.
Obtain optimal electrode response by reading this guide to learn about electrode placement, electrode site preparation, electrode lead connection, electrode noise reduction, and electrode removal.
