Response/Hand Force for MRI

Extend Discovery into the MRI

Advanced technology for MRI-based research

Subjects can indicate a response while in the MRI by squeezing this pump bulb by hand or applying pressure via foot, thigh, etc. to  The device is based on pneumatic principles of operation and has high accuracy for pressure measurements, on the order of ±1%. Includes one 10 meter polyethylene tube; additional polyethylene tube extensions are available from BIOPAC.

The TSD114-MRI consists of

  • Pump bulb (RXPUMPBULB-MRI)
    maximum diameter: 5.8 cm
    length: 11.1 cm
  • Pressure transducer (TSD104A)
  • Tubing (AFT30-XL)

MRI Use: MR Safe (see Specifications for components)
