MRI Cbl/Filter Sys. to Biopot. Amps
Part #: MECMRI-BIOP, MECMRI-DA, MECMRI-AMI, MECMRI-HLT, MECMRI-NICO, MECMRI-STMISO, MECMRI-TRANS

These MRI filtered cable sets include the following components to set up recordings in the MRI:

  • Biopotential Amps use MECMRI-BIOP: MECMRI-2 MRI Cable (2 m) filter to biopotential amplifier*, MRIRFIF interference filter set (MRIRFIF and MRIRFIF-2) and MECMRI-1 MRI Cable (8 m) chamber to filter.
  • Transducer Amps MECMRI-TRANS: MECMRI-1 MRI Cable (8 m) chamber to filter, MRIRFIF interference filter set and MECMRI-3 MRI Cable (2 m) filter to transducer amplifier*.
  • AMI Interface Amp use MECMRI-AMI: MRIRFIF interference filter set (MRIRFIF and MRIRFIF-2) and MECMRI-8 MRI Cable (2 m) to AMI100D amplifier or HLT100C amplifier.
    • MECMRI-AMI replaces the older MECMRI-HLT to add AMI100D compatibility; existing MECMRI-HLT systems include MRIRFIF interference filter set (MRIRFIF and MRIRFIF-2) and MECMRI-6 MRI Cable (2 m) filter to HLT100C amplifier only—not compatible with AMI100D.
  • DA Interface Amp use MECMRI-DA: MRIRFIF interference filter set (MRIRFIF and MRIRFIF-2) and MECMRI-5 MRI Cable (2 m) to DA100C amplifier.
  • Accelerometers to AMI100D or HLT100C: MECMRI-9 MRI Cable (8 m) chamber to filter, MRIRFIF interference filter set and MECMRI-3 MRI Cable (2 m) filter to accelerometer; older systems may use MECMRI-7 to HLT100C only.
  • NICO Amp use MECMRI-NICO: 2 meter cable for control room side amp to patch panel, Patch panel Pi filter, 8 meter cable for chamber room side from patch panel to subject and all typical mounting bracket hardware to NICO100C-MRI in control room.
  • STMISO use MECMRI-STMISO: MECMRI-1 Cable (8 m) for MRI chamber room to filter, MRIRFIF interference filter set and MECMRI-4 Cable (2 m) with DSUB9 to 2 x Touchproof for filter to STMISO in MRI control room.

IMPORTANT!

* Use with MRI Smart Amplifiers when available; MRI Smart Amps provide cleaner signals and improved performance, including in higher field strength cases.

Compatibility

MRI Use: Conditional to 7T

Condition: Conductive parts of cable are electrically and thermally isolated from subject. (See Specifications for components.)  The MRIRFIF and MRIRFIF-2 “Pi” filters must be on the Control Room side of the patch panel.
