Nonin-interface-PPG100C
Part #: TCIPPG3

Interface Nonin 9-pin to PPG100C

This interface connects all Nonin 9-pin transmissive and reflective optical probe transducers, or a range of other commercially available optical transducers for SpO2 (finger, toe, universal, and earclip), to the PPG100C Photoplethysmogram Amplifier.

The visible light transmitter and receiver of the probe is employed to establish a very high quality, high S/N ratio, transmissive, photo-plethysmogram signal, suitable for evaluating PPG signal characteristics. The snap on interface uses the Nonin gauge to generate a high-performance PPG type signal; the SpO2 signal is not measured.

The TCIPPG3 interface adapter plugs into the front of the PPG100C for MP Research Systems and allows it to work with SpO2-type probes that terminate in a 9-pin D female connector (such as those from Nonin®). The PPG100C also has the capability to interface to a wide range of commercially available optical probes. Probes are available for fingers, toes, earclip, and universal attachment. BIOPAC probes compatible with the TCIPPG3+PPG100C combination include the TSD124B, TSD124C, and TSD124D SpO2 Human Oximetry Transducers. The TCIPPG3 also supports use of the OXY100E-200 extension cable.
