Goniometers & Torsiometers

Simultaneous Measurement Goniometer

Measure around two orthogonal rotational axes

Dual-axis output devices provide simultaneous measurements around two orthogonal rotational axes and single-axis output devices measure axial rotation about a single plane.
  • TSD130A and TSD130B are dual-axis goniometers; use these dual output devices to measure limb angular movement (wrist flexion/extension and radial/ulnar deviations).
  • TSD130C and TSD130D are single-axis torsiometers; use these single output devices to measure forearm pronation/supination or similar.
  • TSD130E is a single axis goniometer; use this single output device to measure joint movement (finger or toe).

Goniometers and torsiometers attach to the body using TAPE2 medical adhesive tape. One DA100C is required for each output; accordingly, to measure both axes simultaneously, twin axis goniometers require two DA100C amplifiers.
