These disposable dry electrodes have a very long shelf-life and are ideal for EDA/GSR applications. EL509 electrodes are radiotranslucent and have circular contact area on an oblong backing. Requires LEAD108B or LEAD108C and electrode gel—GEL101A recommended for EDA/GSR; GEL104 can be used for long-term, non-irritating, monitoring applications.

  • Standard snap connection
  • Ag/AgCl laminated, carbon composition contact (11 mm dia)
    • Incorporates gel cavity (16 mm dia  1.5 mm deep)
  • Foam tape backing: 1.5 mm thick, latex free
  • Strong adhesion

Condition: Up to 7T, any scanning sequence; up to 9T on animals.  Use with LEAD108 series only. (See Specifications for components.)

To add gel:

EL509 Disposable dry electrode with sponge pad
  1. Fill back cavity and sponge (adhesive side) with gel.
  2. Press firmly to clear air pockets.
