This accessory for the SS72L Microelectrode Amplifier adds manual DC offset control via an external control box. The control box has two offset adjustment knobs:
The 1.8 m (6′) cable terminates in a 2.5 mm, 4-pin, audio plug to mate with the audio jack on the SS72L.
Offset control is necessary for many extracellular recordings including BSL PRO Lesson A17 Frog Heart – Intracellular* Action Potentials.
*Note: A17 is an “extracellular” recording but because all heart muscle cells in close proximity to each other have almost identical action potential amplitude and timing, it’s labeled an “intracellular” recording.
High-performance mobile fNIR Imaging Systems are stand-alone functional brain imaging solutions for continuous NIR spectroscopy (NIRS). These top of the line systems provide cognitive function assessment and eliminate a great many of the drawbacks of a functional MRI. Mobile subjects are comfortable and can respond naturally in real-world situations to take a test or perform mobile […]
