Clip Lead, RT, u/sh, 1.8 m
Part #: LEAD108B, LEAD108C

Use LEAD108 Series leads in MRI/fMRI environments with radiotranslucent snap electrodes, such as disposable pre-gelled EL508 or disposable dry EL509.

For MRI use, shorter leads are better. To record any biopotential signal (e.g., ECG, EMG) in MRI, short leads such as LEAD108B (15 cm) and LEAD108C (30 cm) are recommended; do not use 2-meter or 1-meter leads for biopotential signals in MRI.

See BIOPAC MRI Guidelines for details.

MRI Use: Conditional to 9T

Condition: Up to 9T, any scanning sequence, use with EL508 or EL509 MRI/RT electrodes only. (See Specifications for components.)

Compatibility

Lead length when recording in MR environments is critical. Lead lengths must be kept much shorter than the wavelength of the Larmor frequency (42.6 MHz/T). For a 3T machine, this is the speed of light divided by (42.6*3*1E6) or 2.34 meters. As field strengths increase, then lead lengths should continue to shorten.

New Citations | Utilizing VR and AcqKnowledge to Reduce Stress

Impact of Green Space on Stress Reduction Research studies show that the increased exposure of urbanization, traffic noise and pollution has been correlated with increasing levels of stress. However, do greener, more natural environments provide the opposite effect, restoring human well-being and contributing in stress reduction? Researchers compared user experiences in Virtual Reality (VR) scenes […]
