Part #: STM-CHRONOS-2, STM-CHRONOS-1, STM-CHRONOS-3

The Chronos®  USB-based response and stimulus device features millisecond accuracy in the areas of stimulus, response, sound output, and external device communication—this level of timing accuracy cannot be achieved using a keyboard, mouse, or onboard sound card. Chronos also gives users a solution for communicating with external devices (up to 16 digital inputs and outputs) without the need for a parallel port

Chronos includes 16 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs, eliminating the need for a parallel port. The Photo Sensor accessory (included) can be used on CRT, LCD, and projection displays to detect stimulus onset events, refreshes, and measure rise and fall times. All responses collected are synchronous to the E-Prime® time domain. Multiple Chronos devices can be connected to a single PC (E-Prime 2.0 Professional or E-Prime 3.0).

STM-CHRONOS Systems include

  • Chronos console (8″ x 6-1/2″ x 2-3/8″)
  • I/O Expander
  • BIOPAC Interface cable—choose for Smart Center, STP100C (to MP1X0, or MP36/36R
  • Microphone (4″ x 9-3/4″)
  • Photo Sensor
  • USB cable (6’)
  • Auxiliary I/O breakout cable assembly (2 digital inputs, 2 digital outputs, 1 power (5 V), 1 digital ground, 1 analog input, and 1 analog ground)
  • Demonstration experiment
  • Samples and Tutorials

System Options include appropriate interface cable to specified BIOPAC hardware
