Creating simulated environments and Virtual Reality (VR) experiments is easy with tools from BIOPAC Systems and Worldviz VR. These tools allow researchers to conduct experiments while combining simulations with physiological data and biofeedback. When starting these experiments, researchers often ask: What options are available? What equipment do I need? How do I create a virtual environment? How do I get started?

This technical showcase demonstrates a series of VR and computer simulations along with resources on how to create interactive experiments. Join us to learn these techniques and creative ways to combine physiology data collection, VR, and biofeedback.

What You Will Learn
  • Possibilities of using computer and VR simulations in research
  • Creative combinations of physiological recording and VR
  • Tracking cognitive processes with fNIR
  • Automated analysis
  • Foundations for developing your first experiment
Plus, we’ll do a live demo on how to create a virtual environment for physiology experiments and more.
