Isolate components of the ECG and use the averaging features in the software to automate ECG analysis. Use the electronic stethoscope to examine heart sounds and then overlap the data to correlate the sounds with the mechanical events of the cardiac cycle. Record arterial blood pressure and record systolic, diastolic, mean, dP/dt max and min, and use the noninvasive cardiac output sensor to record stroke volume and cardiac output. If flow signals are available, record them simultaneously with pressure to examine vascular resistance and compliance. Plot pressure versus flow to obtain P/V Loops.
|General-purpose Electrodes||These pre-gelled disposable electrodes have a circular contact and are most suitable for short-term recordings, including surface EMG, ECG, EOG, etc. The small vinyl backing allows close electrode placement where necessary, and a slightly less firm adhesive allows "ouchless" removal. The electrodes incorporate liquid electrolyte gel and moderately-high chloride salt concentration for quick, accurate readings.…|
|Bioimpedance Strip Electrodes||This disposable strip electrode is used for bioimpedance applications. Each carbon film strip electrode uses isotonic hydrogel to adhere to the participant and provide a conductive medium. The electrodes have a fabric backing for added comfort and conformity to the subject. The electrode uses a snap fit stud for easy interfacing with BIOPAC electrode leads. Advantages of…|
|High Impedance Cables||Micro-electrode interface cables for MP36/36R, MP35, MP30, or MP45* These fully-shielded, unity gain, high-impedance, differential input, electrode interface cables permit high resolution recording of biopotential signals. These interface cables incorporates dual ultra-high impedance buffer amplifiers (one for Vin+ and one for Vin-) to allow for connections to needle electrodes, wire electrodes, or very small surface electrodes…|
|Lead set, shielded, BSL||This fully-shielded cable assembly permits high resolution recording of biopotentials using our EL500 series disposable electrodes. The 2 meter adapter is terminated with standard pinch connectors to interface with EL500 series snap electrodes. The SS2LB interfaces with Biopac Student Lab data acquisition units (MP3X or MP45) and the MP36R research unit. Compatible releases BSL Lessons…|
|Pressure Transducer - MP3X/45||The SS13L is used to measure direct arterial or venous blood pressure in animals, or to record the pressure changes within an in-vitro circuit such as a Langendorff heart preparation. Connect to tubing via the standard rotating Luer Lok tube fittings. The cable terminates in a connector interface for an MP3X or MP45 unit. The transducer comes…|
|Stethoscope for BSL||The BSL Stethoscope was developed to teach students the standard procedure for listening to heart sounds and Korotkoff sounds with a normal stethoscope and at the same time record sound data. A microphone in the stethoscope simultaneously records the sound the student is hearing, and the BSL software will display the soundwave during and after…|
|Noninvasive Cardiac Output Sensor - MP3X||The SS31LA simultaneously measures Impedance Magnitude (Zo; labeled “Z” on the module) and Derivative of Impedance Magnitude (dZ/dt; labeled “DZ” on the module). The SS31LA noninvasively records the parameters associated with Cardiac Output measurements. Measure changes in Cardiac Output under a variety of conditions: laying down, sitting up, standing up, and post-exercise. Use the Kubicek…|
