BIOPAC offers the hardware and software to provide complete sleep studies on small animals.
Record the data using a BIOPAC data acquisition system and open the AcqKnowledge data file in the Kissei SleepSign™ software. SleepSign™ requires two signals to perform the analysis, EEG and EMG. It provides options for automated and manual scoring of the data. Once the data has been scored, the software provides a summary report of the analysis results.
See More...SleepSign helps you to evaluate the different sleep stages of animals (rate, mouse, dog, etc.). The software pre-assigns the regular sleep stages (Wake, REM, SWS, erc.) and also includes three (3) unassigned vigilance stages that you can assign as required in your research.
SleepSign automatically evaluates sleep stages based on EEG and EMG signals; you can also easily evaluate sleep stages by visually checking the waveforms on the screen.
SleepSign can display various types of information, such as Hynograms and Trend Graphs and has various analyzing functions, including Stage Graphs, Vigilance Graphs, Parameters Display, FFT Analysis, Digital Filter, and Zoom.
