Script 054 – Ensemble Average Segments

Version:

Description

BIOPAC Developer - scripting, network data transfer, API, support

The Ensemble Average Segments script allows the user to average user-selected areas of a data file, such as baseline, recovery, or intervals of cleaner data. It is extremely useful for impedance cardiography, ECG, and vibromyography signal analysis.

This script excises data segments (demarcated by user-defined global markers) into separate files and then invokes an ensemble averaging routine and applies it to all the data in user-selected channels. Place the following files under the AcqKnowledge Script directory:
– EnsembleAverage.ui
– SegmentMarkerSelection.ui
– Ensemble Average Segments.bbs

The Script directory is found under:
  • Windows 7 C:ProgramDataBIOPAC Systems, IncAcqKnowledge 4.2.1Scripts
  • Mac OS /Applications/AcqKnowledge 4.2/AcqKnowledge.app/Contents/Resources/Scripts
    • To access the “AcqKnowledge.app” and subdirectories, right-click the AcqKnowledge application icon and select “Show Package Contents.”
