The SS23 torsiometer is a single output device used to measure axial rotation about a single plane (e.g., forearm pronation/supination). The gauge mechanism allows for accurate measurement of polycentric joints. Telescopic endblocks compensate for changes in distance between the two mounting points as the limb moves. Attach to the body with TAPE2 medical adhesive tape. Requires one TEL100C channel for output.
The SS23 and SS22 are single axis devices to measure limb angular movement.
See SS24 single-axis goniometer to measure finger joint movement.
See SS20 and SS21 twin-axis goniometers for dual output devices that can provide simultaneous measurements around two orthogonal rotational axes (e.g., wrist flexion/extension and radial/ulnar deviations).
