BIOPAC has two options that allow for the collection of physiological data from mobile subjects, the TEL100C and the BioHarness. The TEL100C Remote Monitoring system allows the subject to move freely within the confines of a lab or where they are relatively close to the recording system. The BioHarness system allows the subject to move anywhere. The system will either telemeter the data back to the computer or log the data locally for later download.
If you want to record physiological data from a subject while they go about their daily routine, the BioHarness is the perfect solution. The BioHarness is warn by the subject and records heart rate, respiration, temperature, activity, and posture.
The TEL100C system telemeters a combination of physiological signals such as: ECG, EEG, EMG, EOG, respiration, temperature, airflow, goniometry, acceleration, heel/toe strike, and more. There are two versions of the system, tethered or RF transmission. This is an ideal solution for subjects that require a reasonable degree of freedom in a lab setting.
