Noninvasive Blood Pressure Monitoring via Cuff Sensor

BIOPAC offers validated, proven noninvasive blood pressure systems for human and animal applications. These systems are part of a complete research system solution. They interface with the MP160 data acquisition and analysis platform and AcqKnowledge software, allowing advanced research for multiple applications and supporting acquisition of a broad range of signals and measurements.

NIBP100D_V3.5_incl_setup_AcqKonowledge_800Human—NIBP Finger Cuff Systems

The NIBP100D and NIBP100E Systems provide a continuous, beat-to-beat, blood pressure signal recorded from the fingers of a subject. The Systems use a double finger cuff that is easy to place on the hand. Systems include three cuffs, one of each size: small, medium, and large. The System outputs a continuous blood pressure waveform that is similar to a direct arterial pressure waveform.

  • NIBP100D/E parameters: BP, sBP, dBP, mBP, and PR
  • NIBP100D/E-HD parameters: BP, sBP, dBP, mBP, and PR plus hemodynamic parameters CO, CI, SV,SI, SVR, and SVRI (with PPV, SVV, for NIBP100D-HD only)

small animal tail noninvasive blood pressure monitorAnimal—NIBP Tail Cuff Systems

NIBP Tail Cuff Systems provide two analog outputs: pressure and pulse. Systems incorporate a built-in pump that automatically inflates the blood pressure cuff to occlude the vessel in the tail of a rat or small animal. Once the pump reaches the inflation point it slowly deflates the cuff, providing a linear drop in pressure. A single control runs both the inflation and deflation cycles, making the system very user-friendly. Systems include one tail cuff sensor  (9.5 mm , 11 mm, or 13 mm), one restrainer (mouse, small, medium, or large), and interface cables. Optional heater and MRI sensors also available.

  • NIBP250 Touchscreen LCD controls & displays data for local analysis and storage of systolic, diastolic, and mean BP values. Use as a stand-alone system or interface to BIOPAC or third-party A/D hardware
  • NIBP200 Interface to BIOPAC or third-party A/D hardware and computer

Used with BIOPAC electrodes, AcqKnowledge software, the MP160 data analysis and acquisition hardware platforms, transducers and other system components, NIBP systems are elements of a complete data acquisition and analysis system.
