BIOPAC provides a suite of high-quality equipment items to support the measurement of air flow and measurement and analysis of respiratory gas concentrations. A variety of human (adult and child) and small and large animal devices are available supporting research in pulmonary function, exercise physiology, and other applications. Researchers can perform lung volume measurements to analyze respiratory air flow and investigate breathing mechanics by examining pressure/air flow and pressure/volume relationships. When used in combination with BIOPAC electrodes, amplifiers, DAQ units and AcqKnowledge or BSL software, these airflow and gas analysis accessories are part of a complete data acquisition and analysis system.
