The TSD117-MRI can be used to perform a variety of tests relating to air flow, lung volume and expired gas analysis in the MRI and is intended for human use. The transducer includes a removable head for easy cleaning and sterilization or replacement (RX117). The TSD117-MRI interfaces with the MECMRI-DA to the DA100C general-purpose transducer amplifier.
Terminates in a DSUB9 and requires MECMRI-DA for proper operation.
The TSD117-MRI is used outside the bore in the MRI Chamber Room and AFT7-L tubing is connected to reach the subject. Use coupler AFT11D to add tubing length (AFT7 or AFT7-L).
Airflow Accessories for the TSD117-MRI:
For air flow and lung volume measurements, use the TSD117-MRI with the AFT2 mouthpiece and the AFT1 bacterial filter.
For measurements of expired gases, use the TSD117-MRI with the AFT22 non-rebreathing T valve with AFT10 facemask and the AFT15A or AFT15B mixing chambers.
Recommended sterilization: cold sterilization (i.e., Cidex) or autoclave. The detachable flow head (RX117) is dishwasher safe.
