Emotional Finance, PTSD, and Robotic Actions—New Citations

Brand new publications have been released featuring BIOPAC solutions. These new papers include:

  • Emotional Responses to Financial Info: Researchers sought to study the role of emotions in the decision-making process of traders. The study used BioNomadix wireless sensors to record Electrodermal Activity (EDA) from the participants. Download the study here.
  • Observation and Imitation of Actions: This experiment tested humanoid robots with different degrees of human likeness and motion and measured muscle activity while they viewed or imitated right arm action from a video. A BIOPAC MP System and AcqKnowledge software was used to record and analyze the EMG signal. Download a PDF of the study here.
  • Blunted Responses to Reward with PTSD: This study measured behavioral and physiological responses to monetary rewards in accident survivors with PTSD. A BIOPAC MP150 System was used to measure Skin Conductance Response (SCR) from subjects. Read the entire study here.
