These disposable dry electrodes have no shelf-life limitation and are ideal for EDA/GSR applications. EL509 electrodes are MRI-compatible and radiotranslucent as defined by BIOPAC, and have a 1 cm diameter circular contact area on a 38 mm diameter backing. Use with LEAD108 and electrode gel—GEL101 recommended for EDA/GSR.

To add gel:
Fill back cavity (adhesive side) with gel.
Add a drop of gel to the sponge pad.
Place the sponge pad into the cavity.
Press firmly to clear air pockets.
Note—Use the DTU100 Digital Trigger Unit to trigger an MRI System with the occurrence of the R-wave present in animal (high frequency) ECG data; see BIOPAC MRI Guidelinesfor set up details to record with an ECG100C amplifier directing its output to the MP System.
