The MP150 data acquisition and analysis system provides a flexible tool for your life science research and teaching needs. The modular, powerful data acquisition system interface for Mac can be used with BIOPAC's amplifiers and accessories AND with equipment you already have.
The MP150 data acquisition workstations include all hardware, software and guides you need to get started. The software, hardware and tutorial guides are provided in digital, PDF format for easy access and search options while running AcqKnowledge; printed guides are also available—see MANMPSYS.
AcqKnowledge is an interactive, intuitive program that lets you instantly view, measure, analyze, and transform data. Perform complex data acquisition, stimulation, triggering and analyses using simple pull-down menus and dialogs—no need to learn a programming language or new protocol. Online analysis settings, filters, and transformations provide real-time feedback, or you can choose from a wide variety of off-line analysis tools. Multiple display options are available during and after acquisition—just click on an icon to flip between Chart, Scope, X/Y, Overlapped segments, Histogram, or FFT. The software also includes quality presentation capabilities.
To put together a system for your specific needs, start with one of our Starter Systems, then add the amplifier modules, transducers and electrodes to match your research design.
The MP150 offers:
Ethernet-ready data acquisition and analysis
Record multiple channels with differing sample rates
Record at speeds up to 400 kHz (aggregate)
Place one or more MP150 Systems in a local area network (LAN). Use any Macintosh in the LAN to record from any MP150 system in the network.
For hardware specifications, click to open the MP Systems Hardware Guide(also available under the Resources tab above) and search for the desired items.

Be sure to unplug the power supply from the MP150 before cleaning. To clean the MP150, use a damp, soft cloth. Abrasive cleaners are not recommended as they might damage the housing. Do not immerse the MP150 or any of its components, as this can damage the system. Let the unit air-dry until it is safe to reconnect the power supply.
