The SS19LA noninvasive blood pressure cuff comes complete with adjustable cuff (circumference range 25.4 to 40.6 cm), pump bulb, and pressure sensor. The pressure sensor is contained in the connector housing (DB9) and connects to the cuff via a 3 meter air hose (Luer-Lok fittings). Only a single calibration point (at 0 mmHg) is required. A pressure gauge (manometer) is displayed in the BSL software; gauge color can be set under Lesson Preferences in BSL 3.7.5 or above.
Use with the SS30L stethoscope for the evaluation of systolic and diastolic blood pressure. When the stethoscope is used to record the Korotkoff sounds it is easy to obtain very accurate and repeatable results.
