Amplifier analog output signals

The UIM100C is bidirectional. With a BIOPAC amplifier connected to the UIM100C, the appropriate input becomes an output.
  • For example, if you have an ECG100C module set to channel 1, you can connect a cable to the channel 1 connector on the front of the UIM100C to access the analog signal. Use the CBL100 series connection cables to interface with the UIM100C.

Please note: To maintain subject electrical isolation within the MP system and when interfacing BIOPAC hardware with other third-party products that are mains powered, use the HLT100C module in conjunction with the OUTISO or INISO.

Use the OUTISO to connect MP analog signal outputs (amplifier and data acquisition unit) to external equipment inputs.

Use the INISO to connect external equipment outputs to MP analog input channels.

Each signal isolator comes with an RJ11 cable for connection to the HLT100C module. These adapters are required to maintain subject isolation when interfacing BIOPAC hardware with other third-party products.
