The SS50L pneumotach can perform a variety of pulmonary measurements relating to airflow, lung volume, and expired gas analysis. The transducer consists of a heated airflow pneumotach head coupled to a precision, highly sensitive, differential pressure transducer. The pneumotach will connect directly to a breathing circuit or plethysmogram chamber. For airflow and lung volume measurements, connect a short airflow cannula to the pneumotach flow head. Note: SS46L, SS50L, and SS52L are heated pneumotachs; SS45L, SS47L-SS49L and SS51L pneumotachs come equipped with an internal heating element that can be optionally attached to the AC137A 6-volt power supply.
