The SS45L-SS52L series pneumotachs can perform a variety of pulmonary measurements relating to airflow, lung volume, and expired gas analysis. Each transducer type consists of an airflow pneumotach head coupled to a precision, highly sensitive, differential pressure transducer. The pneumotachs will connect directly to a breathing circuit or plethysmogram chamber. For airflow and lung volume measurements, connect a short airflow cannula to the pneumotach flow head. Note: SS46L, SS50L, and SS52L are heated pneumotachs; other SS series pneumotachs come equipped with an internal heating element that can be optionally attached to the AC137A 6-volt power supply.
