TSD137D pneumotachs can perform a variety of pulmonary measurements relating to airflow, lung volume and expired gas analysis. Each TSD137D consists of an airflow pneumotach head coupled to a precision, highly sensitive, differential pressure transducer (RX137D1 with TSD160A). TSD137D pneumotachs connect directly to a breathing circuit or plethysmogram chamber. For airflow and lung volume measurements, connect a short airflow cannula to the TSD137 series flow head. The TSD137D pneumotach is equipped with an internal heating element that can be optionally attached to the AC137A 6-volt power supply.
Effective August 2011: TSD137D ships with RX137D1 166 ml/sec head instead of RX137D 150 ml/sec head.
