To increase subject comfort and minimize cumbersome wiring, use the TEL100C Remote Monitoring Module set. Each 4-channel module connects to the subject via a single thin coaxial cable. Cables are available to span from 10 to 60 meters between the subject and the MP System. Add remote monitoring module sets to an existing MP System to take tethered ambulatory measurements or to record from multiple subjects.
The TEL100C features universal inputs that are automatically configured to record from any of the "SS Series" Simple Sensor electrodes and transducers. Mix and match Simple Sensors in any fashion with the TEL100C.
Up to four TEL100C Remote Monitoring Module sets can be used with a single MP System. TEL100C sets can be mixed and matched with other BIOPAC amplifiers to satisfy a wide range of measurement applications.
BIOPAC's TEL100C wireless remote monitoring system was used for the "Super Strength" episode on the National Geographic Channel. The episode features Mark Phillipe—an America's Strongest Man winner—pulling a truck that is 85 times his weight while BIOPAC equipment measures his muscle activity, breath-by-breath ventilation rate, heart rate, and load cell signal.
